I am pretty excitable when it comes to new makeup goodness and picked up the Glow Palette when it landed here in Australian stores. This palette is a peach infused three shade highlighting palette.
Let me start off by saying this palette smells ahhhhmazing. You could probably buy this to sniff from time to time, never actually applying any makeup at all. But if you are indeed contemplating a purchase to put these peachy powders on your cheeks, let me give you my thoughts.
IT SMELLS AMAZING!! Okay okay, I’ve said that. Apart from the peachy scent of deliciousness, I really like this palette. The palette is marketed as an illuminating, blushing and bronzing palette to give your face a radiant natural peach glow.
Sounds fab right? I think so.
To break it down quite simply, I like this palette for a really natural and ah ‘radiant’ glow. I find the shades are completely perfect for everyday use for me at work (a desk job). The illuminator is gorgeous if you are wanting to achieve a really natural look. Sometimes I do prefer a very bold highlight, so I have been using this in conjunction with other illuminators for that POP. In saying that, all of the shades build quite well, but keep in mind that the shades are very sheer (which you can see from my swatches below)
The bronzer is beautiful but also provides a very natural look. I sweep the bronzer over my contour of a morning and love it. I wouldn’t recommend this bronzer for contouring and on the weekend I like a much more deep bronzer, so wouldn’t reach for this palette for that.
The blush is a beautiful peachy coral colour and a blush I have been using everyday. It provides a super pretty, yet subtle sheen to your cheeks, which is perfect for me as i’m not a huge fan of blush. Too Faced products never really let me down and the quality of this palette is no different.
Overall, I am glad I purchased this and it’s a fantastic travel companion given the 3-in-1.
As always, thank you so much for reading! Let me know if you have tried this palette in the comments.
