Ride or Die Makeup TAG!

Flatlay, makeupblog

Your going to mars and you can only take ONE product from each makeup category?

Welcome to the ‘Ride of Die Makeup TAG’ blog post  – which basically means I will attempt to choose ONE product for each makeup category that I could not go without. In a world full of beautiful packaging, blushes that smell like peaches and highlighters that make me drool, this certainly isn’t an easy one, but I like a good challenge!

 Let’s jump straight in:

PRIMER

Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional

FOUNDATION

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation (Although recently I think I have a new favourite in the Too Faced Born This Way – seriously ahhhhmazing!!!!)

CONCEALER

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye

FACE POWDER

NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder – I don’t really use many face powders, I much prefer a glowy/dewy look to a matte face of powders (just my preference that suits my skin type)

UNDER EYE SETTING POWDER

NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder

BLUSH

Too Faced Papa Don’t Peach Blush and Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion

BRONZER

MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in ‘GIVE ME SUN’ – if you follow me you’ll know I rave about this on a daily basis. This is a matte bronzer which I use to contour with.

If your feeling like a shimmery bronzer for a glowy day look or a glam night look the MAC Mineralise Skin Finish in ‘Gold Deposit’ is absolute BOMB. The pigment is incredible.

If you are more pale – Benefit Hoola Bronzer is a good starter for a more natural bronze/contour shade.

HIGHLIGHT

The Balm Cosmetics Mary Lou Manizer and NYX Glow Palette (read my review here)

MASCARA

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara

BROWS

Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof  Eyebrow Pencil

EYE LINER

Bobbi Brown Long-wear gel eyeliner

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

LIPSTICK

BareMinerals Gen Nude Radiant Lipstick

LIQUID LIPSTICK

Too Faced Melted Matte Lip Gloss

LIP GLOSS

I don’t really own/wear lip glosses (hair getting caught on a windy day is just too annoying and I hate the tacky feeling). But I am seriously digging the formula of my very own lipgloss creation from the Lip Lab – which I named flamingo.

LASHES

Ardell Wispies of course!

EYESHADOW PALETTE

Too Faced Chocolate Bons Bons Palette

SETTING SPRAY

MAC Fix+ (not really a setting spray, more of a finishing spray, but the only spray I use to a) wet my beauty blender and b) spray my face

PERFUME

Estee Lauder – AERIN

TANNING

Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mousse

So these are the collection of products I’m taking with me on a trip to Mars – looking glam on a distant planet is obviously el importante. Are these products any of your ride or die?

I hope you enjoyed this one lovely readers.

Love always,

V. xx
