I am wearing the Innoxa Foundation in this selfie, oh and there is no filter!!

So I can be quite the snob when it comes to foundations and I really do see a difference between the YSL All Hours Foundation or the middle of the road Too Faced Born This Way Foundation to your drug store varieties. Look I’m sorry I can’t sit here and write ohhh they are all exactly the same, they aren’t!! You pay for what you get…BUT, enter the Innoxa Lift and Firm Foundation, which is pretty new to the scene.

I was gifted the shades ‘Sand’ and ‘Beige’ which when mixed actually give me my perfect colour to match my fake tanned neck. When I first gave this guy a go, I applied the foundation with my beauty blender and immediately fell in foundation love. The formula is hydrating, yet I wouldn’t class it as overly dewy, I find it matte to a somewhat powdery finish, yet works so well with my somewhat dry skin that is prone to becoming oily as the day goes on. This foundation wears so well during the day, lasting me a full 8 or 9 hour day with ease, it’s buildable and  does a fab job at evening out my skin.

Innoxa’s description of the foundation:

Specially formulated for the needs of mature, dehydrated and stressed skin, offering weightless, long lasting coverage for all day wear. Enriched with skin lifting and firming ingredients to improve elasticity, this oil-free formula also contains Vitamin E to intensely hydrate and moisturise the skin.

Look for me at 27, a foundation that is geared towards mature skin, wouldn’t really ding my bell, BUT for any of the younger gals reading this, don’t let this description put you off giving this base a test.

I have never been so impressed with a drug store foundation and haven’t stopped using this on the daily since I received it. It’s such a different formula for me, that I wasn’t sure I would like it, but I truly have a new favourite. Don’t get me wrong, I bring out the big guns (NARS and YSL) for the weekend, but this affordable option is ahhmazing for Monday to Friday.

Another bonus, this brand is Australian, vegan and cruelty free. So many ticks for so many boxes. All in all I was very impressed and I definitely think it’s worth picking up.

Have you tried this yet? Let me know in the comments gals.

Bye for now, lots of love.

V xx.
